The need

To stay connected to a young, social customer base Uber often organises field marketing events at large social events such as festivals like the Rock en Seine in Paris (150k visitors).
They work with Side students, who are selected for their ability to communicate with strangers with ease and enthusiasm. These Siders engage with visitors, and encourage them to try out Uber -as a means of transport back from the festival for example.
